Why doesn’t it turn on if it’s new or recently installed?

This is usually related to installation.

• Gas valve is closed
• Air trapped in the gas line (common in new installations)
• Incorrect or faulty regulator
• No ignition spark (in models with electric ignition)
• Wrong gas type connection (LP vs Natural Gas)

👉 In new installations, it may take a few seconds to ignite due to air in the line.
