Why doesn’t it extract smoke even though the lights turn on?

Lighting is independent from extraction.

Common causes:

• Not connected to a duct or missing charcoal filters (wrong mode)
• Grease filters saturated
• Low speed selected
• Installed too high above the cooktop
• Poor duct design (too long or too many bends)

👉 If there’s no airflow, it’s usually installation or filters—not the motor.
