How should I use it correctly?
Proper use ensures better taste, performance, and longer lifespan.
1. First use (essential)
- Wash all removable parts
- Run 1–2 cycles with water only (no coffee)
👉 This removes factory residues and prevents unwanted taste.
2. Daily use
- Use clean water (preferably filtered)
- Do not exceed the maximum fill level
- Use the correct coffee-to-water ratio
Reference:
- ~1 tablespoon per cup
👉 More coffee does not improve taste—it makes it bitter.
3. Brewing process
- Turn on the unit
- Allow it to reach operating temperature
- Do not interrupt the brewing cycle
👉 Interrupting affects both flavor and performance.
4. After use
- Remove used coffee grounds
- Rinse the filter and carafe
- Do not leave coffee sitting for long periods
👉 Old coffee causes odor and residue buildup.
5. Cleaning and maintenance
- Light cleaning after each use
- Deep cleaning every 1–2 weeks
- Descale periodically (depending on water quality)
👉 Mineral buildup is the main cause of performance issues.
6. What to avoid
- Using hard water without maintenance
- Leaving residue inside the unit
- Using overly fine coffee (may clog filters)
- Operating without water
👉 These mistakes reduce the appliance’s lifespan.
